STUDENT DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

Every year the college implements the Earn and learn scheme for UG and PG classes. The students were scrutinized on the basis of their economic background and need. They were interviewed by the Students’ Development Officer. All the students were given an orientation lecture and motivation by the Principal about the working of the scheme.

The period of the scheme is usually from August to February (around 6 to 7 months). The students were assigned different departments like Principal’s office, Administrative office, Exam department, IQAC department, Library, Non-grant section, Accounts section etc. The students were benefited from the scheme and learned the functioning of different units which will be beneficial for them in the future.

The college received a good response and feedback from the students and the college will strive hard to implement this scheme in the next year by involving more needy students.

Every year the students of UG and PG participate in the district level and university level youth festival selection. The SDO and Cultural In charge of the college conduct the selection process. The students participates in various events like dance fine arts, quiz, debate, rangoli, photography, mime, clay arts etc. It is a good platform for students to exhibit their talents and gain experience through the competitions. The college always motivates the students to participate in all student related activities to enhance their personality and facilitate their holistic growth.
