"Digital Literacy and Awareness Workshop" Organized by English Dept.

The Department of English, Bhonsala Mlitary College has successfully arranged one week "Digital Literacy and Awareness Workshop" for UG students.

The main objective of the workshop was to make students aware of the importance of digital literacy and how they can actually make a good career in it. The workshop consisted of various competitions that made it very interesting .

The students were trained through various

activities like composing a resume, filling a google form. making reels , creating a storyline out of the picture. Ramdandee Esha Deo, an entrepreneur student conducted a lecture on 'Digital Advertisement '.

Mrs. Monali Hase, BCS Dept conducted a lecture on 'Electronic Media and Awareness of Artificial Intelligence (AI)'. A session was conducted by Yadnesh Bhoyar on 'Cyber Crime and Cyber Security and Digital Literacy'. The valedictory function of the workshop was held in the auspicious presence of Principal Dr. Dinesh Naik, Head Deptt of English Dr. P. K. Jagtap , IQAC Coordinator, Dr.B.R. Gugane , Mr Vikram Sharma and Mr. Sagar Aher. The awards and certificates were distributed at the auspicious hands of the Principal. The principal appreciated students efforts of speaking in English especially on digital literacy. He further said that The workshop would be helpful to students in choosing their career path. The organising committee consisted of Ramdandee Unnati Shetty, Nitya Palshetkar, Sayee Kotwal, Hitesh Pethe, Tanaya Koli, Aditya Sajgure, Chaitesh Aher, Yadnesh Bhoyar, Ishwari Walzade and Isha Deo.
